The Comfort ISD will be accepting competitive sealed proposals from contractors and material suppliers for the work & trades included in the Softball Complex project. All Proposers must include a bid bond with their proposal. Proposals will be received at the district administration building (327 High Street, Comfort, TX 78013) until 2:00PM on June 14, 2010 & at that time will be publicly opened & read aloud. Proposals shall be complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. Within 45 days after the date of opening proposals, the district intends to rank proposals based upon the published criteria & afterwards enter negotiations with the top ranked firm(s). Comfort ISD intends
to award multiple prime contracts for different scopes of work & to coordinate the work of the various trades. Plans may be examined at the district administration office. The district reserves the right to waive any formalities, reject any & all proposals, & to accept the proposal(s) that in the District's opinion is most advantageous.
